My tryst with photography goes way back to 1999 when I used to shoot for indiarace.com with a floppy driven SONY MAV digital camera! Capturing the speedy horse at the winning post was quite a challenge and I enjoyed doing it!
A year back, I showed few of my travel pictures, shot in Canon Powershot A550 to Bala. He felt that my compositions were good and I need to take next step... That's when I started handling Nikon D70.
Bala is guiding me in Photography. I'm learning about aperture, exposure metering, lighting, shutter speed, use of flash & other lessons from him. I assisted him during his shoot for Shravanabelagola, Karnataka High Court, Tipu Sultan Palace and Bangalore International Airport. I've handled Nikon D70, D200 and D2X cameras for all these shoots and I also have fun with my aim & shoot digicam Canon Powershot 550 and my Nokia N72.
I also get guidance & tips from Asha Thadani, well known fashion photographer in Bangalore.
My photographs were part of the first ever - "Bangalore Photogaphy Festival" - April 15th-April 22nd 2007 at Leela Palace :)
